Wk49-Plan Next Year’s Biz Goals
Focus Forward
Every December, I make time to check in on where my business is and where I want it to go. I’m not mapping out every detail—but I do want a rough outline before the year starts. A list of what’s working, what’s not, and what I want to focus on. If I wait until January, it never happens.
Habit of the week:
Wk49-Plan Next Year’s Biz Goals
Block off an hour or two this week to think through your business goals. That could mean how many websites you want to build, how many care clients you can realistically manage, new services to offer, or just systems that need fixing. Make some notes. Get it out of your head and into a doc.
Why it matters:
Planning now gives you time to reflect without pressure. It's not about big resolutions—it's about small decisions that make your work easier. If something caused stress this year, address it. If something worked well, double down.
Quick Start Guide:
- List what worked and what didn't.
- Sketch your ideal workload: projects, care plans, and offers.
- Note any changes you want to make—tools, templates, pricing, or routines.
- Drop everything into a doc or note you'll actually revisit.
Cami's Tips
- I write on a giant post it note and put it on my wall so I can keep it top of mind all month.
- Include goals that can make your easier, like increasing your email template library or updating your contract.
- I block off time for goal setting, like it's a client appointment—non-negotiable.
- Break your income goal in to how many projects you need to complete.
Routine Checkpoint:
Remember, this is for you and your business.
You don't have to share it, post it, or polish it. Just block time, write it down, and get clear before January hits.
