Wk52-Believe in abundance
Belief Wins
As we wrap up the year, I want to give you something to think about. The new year always brings a fresh start and new beginnings, but it can also bring worry. We are living in times of uncertainty with our economy in the USA and that often can make it difficult to keep a positive mindset as a business owner. I’m here to tell you to believe in yourself.
Habit of the week:
Wk52-Believe in abundance
It's time to shift your mindset toward what's possible—not what might go wrong. Replace scarcity-driven fears with a simple belief that no matter what the challenges might be in the new year, your services are valuable.
Why it matters:
Fear narrows your focus. When you’re worried about what might run out (money, leads, time), you’re more likely to undercharge, overcommit, or say yes to work that doesn’t serve you. An abundance mindset, on the other hand, opens doors. It lets you experiment, invest in yourself, and be generous with your time and ideas. It reminds you that you're building something long-term, not surviving week to week.
Quick Start Guide:
- Is your pricing ready for the new year? Are you charging from fear or from confidence in your value?
- List 3 wins from this past year. Prove to yourself that abundance already exists.
- Declutter your offers. Say no to anything that doesn’t support your most profitable work.
- Practice generosity. Share a resource, testimonial, or intro with no strings attached.
Cami's Tips
- Be proactive and get out and network. Locally or online.
- Prep for the new year, but don't work too much over the holidays. Don't start the year burnt out!
- The best abundance mindset booster? Talking with other designers. Join a community (hint, hint) and speak your fears out loud.
- Instead of setting resolutions, I pick one word for the year. This year, I’m choosing “NO.” Saying no to projects I don’t want will open the door to ones that I do.
Routine Checkpoint:
Remember, you get to decide how you show up in 2026.
